Hi Everyone,
Well, tried the GSIH Short Stack thing this eve. on 2 tables at once.

Got clobbered. Rivered etc. more times than I can recall. LOL!

Anyone have any idea what sort of variance this system is expected to have? What's the expected earn rate is as well?

Anyway, just curious what the expectation is supposed to be?

As an aside, it seems to me that Brunson was right... With hold'em you win the monster pots when the underdog hand hits. Primarily because no one expected it to happen I guess. Anyone else agree.

Geez, seems whenever you flop a decent hand, it's real visible. So it's hard to get action. Seems you almost *have* to have a suckout strategy going.

Granted the party line on NL is exactly the opposite. Play powerful starting hands and clobber the weakies.

OK, I guess that makes sense, esp. Big Stack, where you can clobber someone's drawing odds. But I'm not sure what to think about Short Stack after this brief experiment.
