No one was really loose, I would say semi-loose exept for MP1 who was thight.

Was I "correct" to let KK go

Quick! Edit out the results and end the hand at your fold /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think it's perfectly reasonable to fold where you did.

What did MP and button have? I'm surprised noone made a flush. Surely one of them (MP) had AA. Or were they both maniacs?

Good fold.

Pretty standard fold here. You only have one pair, and they are telling you that they couldn't give a [censored] about it.

Pretty good fold as it turned out. You had two outs on the river which means you had about a 5% chance (2/46) of hitting. The three bets you would have had to put in on the turn meant the pot was laying you 10:1 or ~ 9%. Even if you assume that you'll get 9 more bets on the river when you hit (dubious) and that you will fold to one bet on the river when you don't hit (dubious) you're still not getting the correct odds to call here. You would need to be getting about 17:1 to call three bets on the turn here.

Personally, I probably would have called MP's turn raise and UTG+1's 3-bet because I never laydown KK unless there is an ace out or at least a 3-flush with a lot of betting. However, I would have been incorrect to call and would have just happened to get lucky in this particular hand.

Well-played on your part.

Fold looks OK to me.

Yeah, look at the action. It's capped preflop. You 3-bet the flop, button caps and still it's bet and raised ahead of you on the turn. Someone has AA, a straight or a set.

MP1 >>> Capped preflop and considering he is tight should not hold a a-2 or 6-7 making a straight. According to the flop he could hold a flush draw, according to the river that doesnīt seem to be the case. So he properbly have a pocket pair.

UTG+1 >> He could hold very likely hold a straight according to pre-flop, flop and turn action.

Button >> Seems like he have a busted straight draw. He seems to hold a 2 or 6.

The laydown... The straight is not that likely, so i would have continued and called through.

How tight? He capped preflop, what does that say to you? Then UTG+1 comes to life and bets into the preflop raiser on a coordinated board and gets raised. And then there's a cold-caller! Ay caramba. You've gotta believe at this point that you're up against a set or made straight (I'd be surprised by a straight at 1/2), probably AA from MP1, and another good pocket pair; that puts you drawing to 2 outs, or dead, possibly only ahead of 1 out of 3 players that have acted, and you're getting, uh, 13:1 from the pot. With time to sit here and look at it, I might fold when it's 2 to me on the flop, but, it's a huge pot, and raising is better than calling and then Button chirps in. Ugh.

This hand sucks, but you folded in the right place.

I like coldcalling this flop and seeing what the turn brings instead of 3-betting because of your relative position to MP1 and this draw-heavy board. The 9 /images/graemlins/heart.gif looks like a great card and normally I would plan on raising MP1's turn bet facing the field with 2 BB's cold.

I'd have to re-evaluate those plans though when UTG+1 bets the turn into a PFR, 3-bettor, capper, and a 3 different flop raisers and reraisers.
The certainty that you're behind and the likelyhood that you have to pay 4 BB's to spike your 2-outer makes this a good turn fold IMO.
