Empire 200 NL full ring. Villain (48/5/1.4) has $103, I have him covered.

I get K /images/graemlins/spade.gif J /images/graemlins/spade.gif in MP.

2 calls, 2 folds. I call. 3 folds, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop is J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif J /images/graemlins/club.gif

Checked to me, I bet $9. SB (Villain) calls.

Turn is 8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

He checks, I bet $18, he calls.

River is 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

He pushes for $75, I fold.

Comments? Good fold? Bad fold?

I think it's a good fold. I think you're beat most of the time in this situation. The range of hands that beat you tremendously outway the hands that you beat. Your opponent seems pretty weak / passive so he may also have a weak jack here that he was trying to slow play..

That's what I thought was a possibility, as well.

However, by the river, 3 of those weaker jacks beat me

good discipline, good fold. this is something you beat like ~10% of the time.

Hey Ryan,

Good fold, IMO. Behind a flush and a set here.
