The first PFR is a TAG. The LRR has shown weak-tight tendencies.

5-1, I'd call...if the 3 hits, your in good position for multiple bets as the CO will bet/raise most flops, letting you put people in for multiple bets on the flop or turn, depending on the cards...easy dump on the flop otherwise.

You don't want to see the cap, but that does not change the odds too much anyway with 4 in, and he may not want to cap a passives LRR anyway.

Seems like a decision that won't matter too much in the long run, so if I was in a whiny, running bad night, I'd end up ditching it.

Isn't this a call based solely on set value? I can't see myself folding after seeing UTG+2 call.

I agree. I think if they flip AA or KK up, I still make this call.

The golden rule of pocket pairs is that you should never fold preflop after you have already invested one full small bet. It makes no difference how it happens to get there (your BB, posting behind button, limping, etc.) but you need to ride it out the rest of the way.

Short and sweet, I like it. Is this how you were able to become so good at craps?

Nothing terribly crazy. Brad just educated us on how to hit the point some five times in a row... twice. Of course there was money riding on who could roll the best both times (we didn't learn the first time).

Hate it and call. Especially with someone already calling the 3- bet.
