I wouldn't. Your bet looks so suspicious that he'll often just call down. Even if he just has AK.

I agree. If you'd c/r the turn, he'd be more likely to believe you hit a hand.

I think I'd just fold the flop. Does that make me a puss?

Eh, I think you have enough value to call the flop. You figure with your overcards and both backdoor draws you have what, say 6.5 outs or so? Youd need 6-1 pot odds or better to call and youve got that and a little wiggle room as well; Id call.

What about the times our pair outs are already behind or dominated? Seems like reverse implied odds city. I'd say we've got about 2.25 outs for the backdoor flush and one-gap straight; are you giving 2 outs/ten and 2/jack?

I think thats not too far off. If he's got a high pp, your outs arent worth a whole lot, but if he has overs, JT is not quite as bad as having, say KQ, b/c the latter is probably more likely to get you dominated, since there are more raiseworthy hands preflop with K's and Q's with good kickers then J's and T's.

Regardless, even if you discount your outs to only having 5 total (with each over counting as about 1.25), you have the pot odds to call (although its much thinner obviously. Although Ive been wrong before and I welcome comments on my reasoning as always.

Yea I'm thinking 2 outs for the backdoor flush and straight draws and at least 2 or 3 outs for the overcards, maybe even more since the pot is shorthanded. So with a minimum of 4 outs I should have the implied odds to peel one off on the flop.
