I like the way you played it. Normally I'd like to bet the flop but with an agressive player behind me you don't know how he'll act with a Q or a flush draw and you easily end up commiting your whole stack. If he's very LAG then that might be a good result.

I have a similar concern with the turn. He may raise with a worse hand esp. with your half pot bet. Not all players will, though, so it comes down to knowing how LAG he is. I'd hate to give a free card on the turn but if he's aggressive he'll probably bet it for you so check may be better.

River is fine. You're getting good odds and should bet a Q and some of the time busted flush. Don't worry if he beat you this time. If he bets more it may get difficult.
