i'm in the BB (710 after 200 posted) with A /images/graemlins/spade.gif 5 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
i have a tight image, maybe too tight, due mostly in part to hitting a long stretch of unplayable hands/dead cards between 75/150 and 100/200 blind levels.

the 2nd largest stack (5140) folds.

the next lowest stack at the table (1285) limps in 200 leaving himself with 1085. the guy has'nt impressed me with his play at all. i won't label him as LAG because he has'nt been coming in raising alot of pots but he has shown a propensity to limp into pots, willing to see alot of flops, despite whether it puts his stack in a bad spot by doing so. at times it's worked, other times he's wasted chips.

the chipleader in the SB (6165- 6065 after SB post) folds. both he and the 2nd chipleader have played pretty decent tight-aggressive poker.

preflop with the blinds and 200 from the limper: 500

i push all-in with my 710 left: 1210

the limper calls 710 with J /images/graemlins/heart.gif9 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

do you push all-in in this spot?

what do you think about his call?

Push is fine/good. You can also check/push too.

His limp/call is atrocious (of course)....

Bad beat post. Of course you push, of course he calls with crap, of course you lose.

Just play good.

no results will be posted. only looking for comments about both plays.

villian knows i have'nt played a hand in awhile and may view my push as a desperate one. with that in mind, he may have thought Jh 9h was'nt that bad of a hand.
