Why are you calling preflop if you're folding to an almost-perfect flop? Either fold preflop, or play this hand for all your chips.

So, you're saying you put him on exactly AA or AK, and not QQ trying to represent the A or AJ-?

(I'm not saying I wouldn't have folded)

I think it's fine not to risk too much here and fold, but if you fold when you made your hand, after you called his preflop raise ... why'd you call it in the first place?

I would fold AQ preflop to a raise in early position.

It wasn't like "me hit ace, me hit almost perfect flop". I wasn't ready to commit my chips until I saw what the action was behind me. The guy betting the pot AND getting an overcall then told me to get the hell out. Somebody had AK, I had to believe.

But the again, maybe not? I'm not used to these scenarios. I was not comfortable raising a hand like AQo UTG in the first stage.

If you're going to put one of your opponents on AK, then you shouldn't call preflop.

I would fold AQo here UTG.

It was fine to limp. Others may say raise. However, I might have folded to the raise, seeing how you're out of position and you have to deal with a raiser, and now, even if you do hit your flop, you still have to maneuver to get the most info for the least amount of money. and being out of position post flop, this is hard to do.

im folding that 100% of the time, playing aq for all your chips just b/c you hit an ace is def. not smart

Agreed. Fold to the raise preflop after limping t15.

Of course, I really like overpushing this flop cause this is an $11, and those guys could have anything.

I don't know. At the 11's I'm sometimes willing to play like you preflop. I think the limp is fine and so is the call to the reraise even though you're OOP. I don't trust many of the reerees who play at this level to not know that AJ/A10s is not the nuts. If I hit that flop I'm pushing and maybe learning something about a player or two or I am just reinforcing my stereotype that maybe 2 or 3 of the 10 players at this level are better than a random chimp.
