i was wondering in nl small and mid pairs hold huge value for sets, and its a horrible feeling to fold one to a big pre flop raise and see it hit, my freind was saying he lieks to fold them when it becomes heads up if he calls because then hell never see the flop and because in a heads up pot a the pot isnt big enoguh to extract a ton of value and there is no multiway action. anyone else think this is better then just calling all raises with all pairs. also i was wonderign what positions most ppl start calling 45s and 78s and the like or if there is a certain ratio preflop were it becomes ok to start calling liek 6/1 or 5/1?. last also as far as calling a raise in late position with suited connectors is this an absolute no or again is a call right if the pot odds are there say 3 maybe 4 callers between u and raiser
