If I'm right, there's t400 in the pot at the flop... I think CRing it all-in right there is a solid line though the MP pf raise is kinda scary... Eh.. I suck at poker, and I'm really trying to get better at this.

I fold 88 here after the raise and caller.

A raise and a caller before me tells me there's a better hand out there. I don't think you can win enough times here to make it a call.

edit: this post just refers to the PF play.

First, I probably fold this preflop after the raise with no reads. If I know the raiser to be laggy, I may hang around because I think I have a better chance of stacking him.

When bon07 bets on the flop, I'm probably done with the hand. If it had been a continuation bet from the PF raiser, I may have stuck around or even C/R'd allin, but it looks like I'm out-overpaired here.

The river... I dunno. I probably just push here if I really think I'm ahead (I don't), but probably C/F.

So my line here is basically fold on all streets. Hehe.

Good question. When Bon07 raised 5x with no reads he's a high pair or AK, and I'm thinking I'm folding. With the other caller I was liking the implied odds on hitting a set, so I made a loose, borderline call.

I was just wondering if you'd go through your thought process pre-flop. Since we're in backwards land I expect you to tell me what you were thinking on the flop. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

i asked for your thinking on the flop, not preflop.

but now that i know you think he has a high pair or ak preflop, what inspires you on the flop?

Oh- I guess in YOUR parts they call the part after the first three cards come out the FLOP play... RIGHT /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Actually, on the flop I didn't figure to have the best hand, until the preflop raiser checked. When the original raiser didn't bet and the last player did, I came *this* close to folding, but then thought because of the size of his bet (pot-sized) he could be trying to pick up the pot with position. However, I didn't want to raise fearing a check/raise from the original raiser. I called hoping the original raiser would fold.

The more I review this hand, the more I hate my line. Preflop was a loose call looking for a set. When I didn't get it I was praying that last position was just trying to pick up the pot with two high cards. The check through on the turn puzzled me. On the river I put out a blocking bet to see a cheap(er) river or avoid an all in decision. They both folded, but I don't think this works often enough in the long run- without reads I have to fold preflop out of position facing aggression.
