I'm just wondering what Brown trout means... I've noticed people saying it at the tables why do they say this?

Some time ago, I think, a 2+2er crapped his pants while playing and posted it. Since then, "Brown Trout," (as well as a few other phrases "Sup Bro" "Holla") have been used to identify other 2+2ers at the table, rather than saying "Hey, are you from 2+2?" and risking the chance that our opposition may come here and learn.

Seriously.

What limit do you play at? I've said it many times to 2+2 SNGers who had no idea there was a "codeword". Most of the time I'll say it once if I'm pretty sure its a 2+2er and leave it at that if they don't respond.

Yea, I guess it's pretty -EV...but it gets awfully lonely in the kiddie pool.
