Same 1-2 game iv been playing all day. I have AJ suited and raise to 10 after one limper. Button calls and limper calls.

Flop comes 2 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 3 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 5 /images/graemlins/spade.gif I have AJ hearts. I bet 26 into pot. Button calls. I have no reads as he just sat down.

Turn brings the K /images/graemlins/heart.gif I bet again representing AK, and I have a backdoor flush draw. I bet 64 into 84 pot. He calls. Damn. 210 pot.

River bricks out, K /images/graemlins/spade.gif I check, planing on folding to almost any amount, he checks and mucks! This isnt a startegy hand, but wtf could he possible have that Aj beats....

not likely; can't beat A high, he check-mucked.

There's really no hand that can play like this with a +EV that fails to beat A high. 4h Xh is closest, right?

I suppose he had a straight draw only thing that seems likely to me. Possibly suited in herats and caught a flush draw on the turn as to go with the straight. maybe 4,5 hearts. Who cares really...nice win. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

why do people keep suggesting hands that win the pot? in any case, he almost certainly had a 4. very small chance AcTc/AdTd. maybe you should play lower if you can't read this hand.
