Just an FYI, it looks like bob will be (trying) to do regular updates via his blog (via phone) as he plays in his day one heat. Good luck bob (and all other 2+2'rs)!

Does anyone object if I make this a sticky for a few days for ease of reference?

Any other blogs from any of our guys that we can add?

EDIT

I've decided it is easier and less cumbersome to do it the other way round and include links in a sticky post to this and other interesting threads. Thank you for the support.

I would like to see a thread with links to any 2+2'ers playing in the wsop.

Please do. If we can put all the links to the other "live news" sources in this thread, that would be great too.

...to do regular updates via his blog (via phone) as he plays ...

I doubt his updates will be less verbose than usual, despite using text messaging on the phone. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Go Bob!

I hope you brought your cat as your card protector.

WSOP Main Event - Update #9 -

Middle of the 5th level.....Bob is out.

He made it up to T5200 winning 2 all-ins uncontested.
Blinded down to T4300.

All-in when folded to in the CO with A 5o and he pushed. Button had AK...An Ace and a King came and he was out.

Oh well. I never had much of a chance to get going.

A couple real idiots at my table....but a couple solid aggressive players.

Played at the same table with Johnny Chan for 10 hours....I don't know if that's worth $1k and hour....but it too shabby.
Chan went out about 10 minutes after me.

Good times overall...wouldn't mind playing it again when I might be able to get some cards.

It's REALLY crowded. Line for the men's room at the break is something close to 100 people long.
Lots of spectators....could hardly walk in or out. Obviously many people were watching out table since Chan was on it.

I'll get 'em next year!!!!

Way to go. Too bad you didn't take Chan out yourself. That would have made for a good story.
