Hand 1: I would consider just folding to the flop bet. Perhaps UTG+1 just has 99 and is trying to represent the ace, but he is betting into a preflop 3-bettor with an ace on the board. And a flush draw isn't particularly likely, unless it includes the A /images/graemlins/club.gif (you do hold the jack of clubs, so there aren't many suited broadways available).

Anyway, though, I think the turn fold is fine.

Hand 2: I probably would have just folded preflop, but I think the decision is close. In any event, after you do call, UTG's limp-reraise is an unexpected and annoying development. Playing J6s in a capped pot certainly isn't fun.

Postflop, I don't see what else you can do, in this huge pot.

Whether UTG had something or was just playing around, he certainly did make your life miserable during this hand.
