Just to be clear, you are calling because there's a chance you're ahead on the flop right?

Either that or raise the turn.

I think I raise the flop and take a free river, if you are UI on the turn.

Call on the flop:

- there's a chance you're ahead
- more importantly, the pot is offering better than 6:1 money and you have as many as 7.5 outs. Plus, because you have position, you can easily pick up another big bet or two when you hit your hand (implied odds).

However, the turn is blank for Hero. And this "passive" opponent is still betting out. Plus, the Queen didn't do us any favours. Pot is small, so fold the turn.

Kursoh, raising the turn, especially against this opponent, is absolute rubbish.

Raising this flop works soooooooo much less as you move up. Especially with a hand with only 7 outs at best.

I'd fold this flop before I'd raise it.

how bad is folding this flop? The pot is small and my opponents may have me beat even when my overcards hit (costing me more bets).

it's not that bad, but you have a few things going for you that make it a call.
-the opponent is not overly aggressive so he migh check the turn if he has nothing.
-the backdoor flush draw
-your overcards are more likely to be good because of the very low cards out there.

You also don't want him to donk you on EVERY flop to see if you miss.
