I am headed to vegas for the first time (13th-18th) and would like to know where the softest 4/8 upto 6/12 games might be ( maybe even 10/20 depending on how things go)?

no 5/10 -

personally, I'd shoot for MGM - hell, not even a lot of middle limits there - no mirage, that's for sure - maybe Bellagio

no 5/10? Are you saying there isn't any 5/10?

Sorry I'm not clear on what you are saying.

I just came back from Vegas this weekend, my first time playing poker there.. I think he was saying that 5/10 is not offered anywhere, most places spread 2/4 4/8 8/16 and sometimes 6/12.. Not all places have 6/12 though, Mirage and MGM do if there are people to play it, Bellagio only had 4/8, 8/16 and up..

I definitely liked the MGM though, they have a pretty well managed room, and it's a lot more spacious than Bellagio.. As far as 4/8, it is very soft both at Bellagio and MGM. I also took a stab at 8/16 at Bellagio, it was pretty reasonable although a bit more aggressive.. I did end up droping a significant amount of my bankroll on that game due to bad beats, but that is a different story /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I would stay away from the Mirage. Between 8 - 16 and 15 - 30 there its a waste of bankroll and time. Bellagio 4 - 8 is usually very juicy whereas 8 - 16 is usually a little more aggressive and fewer crackheads. ( Really late at night is the exception ) There is a 4 - 8 1/2 kill game at the Palms as well and that is very juicy. Especially in the late hours when the drunk 20 somethings get out of the club and want to play poker. I am going to hit up the MGM this time myself, we will see how it goes.

Don't worry dude-doesn't matter what table you sit at-you can just muscle everyone else around.

hes probably serious, 2+2'ers always win in the end! oh also... the 4/8 at the nugget was extremely weak, but that might be out of ur way

Mirage, unless they've changed since March, has neither 8/16 nor 15/30. They spread 3/6, 6/12, 10/20, 20/40. None of those games seemed tough.

If you are going to play that much poker, get a poker rate at one of the hotels where you plan to play. Mirage, Bellagio and MGM have them. If they are too pricey, the Monte Carlo has a great poker rate, a nice room and you can get a tram to Bellagio from there.
