MP2 is tight passive. Havent played with him enough to know if he would raise this flop with K or A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif or TPTK

I think the turn and river would be easier to play if you 3-bet the flop.

Hmm, we can 3 bet the flop for sure, but I'm kinda against pumping up flush draws. /images/graemlins/crazy.gif But man 3-bettign this flop would make the turn so much easier to play. See I would have tried c/r the turn considering the flop play, but based on your read villian might check through and giving freecards is another one of my pet peeves...

I guess leading the turn is fine considering you can fold to a raise. You sure he's tight passive right? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't know maybe that's a little weak, but yeah this hand is giving me some headaches.

If you held AJ here, I would say, "Well played". However, you hold top two pair, and you've got a poor soul trapped in between. Your equity edge on the flop is too high not to 3-bet IMO.

Cool, so if a /images/graemlins/diamond.gif hits the turn i check call and fold the river w/out a boat?

Not necessarily. You didn't provide a read on SB so I assume he's loose passive. If SB bets the turn, a read is vital although I may consider folding to a loose-passive.

If SB checks, I would bet here, expecting tight-passive to fold if he doesn't have a diamond. If tight-passive calls, I'll check the river then re-evaluate if he bets. If tight-passive raises, the pot is now big enough to call to draw to your boat.

I think that you miss a ton of bets if you don't 3 bet this flop.

I play it the same...
You hand is worth value-betting and flopped flushes are rare.
You don't have any reason to think you do not have the best hand at the moment.
