MultiPoker Bonus Whoring is not all it's cracked up to be?

I just did some number cruching, and I THINK I make about $5.40 per hour in rakeback on the 2/4 game (@ 200 hands/hr).

So, MultiPoker came out with a $100 deposit for $100 bonus, but you play 20x raked hands (2000) over 20 days.

I think 60% of hands are raked at 0.5/1, 80% are raked at 1/2, and 60% are raked at 2/4. (Though the rake % per pot drops at each level.)

Assuming a 2/100 winrate at all levels:

2/4 + rakeback (on another skin) = $21.40 / hr.

2/4 + bonus = $21.88 / hr.

1/2 + bonus = $16 / hr

0.5/1 + bonus = $12 / hr.

Basically, this is a lot of stress / work for $0.48 per hour. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

If you're normally playing 1/2 without rakeback, then for $8/hr, this is pretty great.

Also, the 7x bonuses would probably be MUCH better, but the 20x bonuses suck goat ass (to put it politely).

I can tell you that a lot of people sitting at desks aren't going to get a 2.5% raise this year for doing nothing more than they were doing...
