View Full Version : Money well spent, right?

So, my birthday wasn't too long ago, and I got a little bit of cash from some relatives. Turning 29, this strikes me as weird, at some point you grow out of that, right? I guess people want me to spend it on something I want.
The thing is, I'm not a splurge type of spender. I usually agonize over my buying decisions, especially if it's something for myself. Necessities like clothes, shoes, etc, can be tough enough. But I virtually never spend my own money on things that have little utility outside of personal enjoyment.
But, sometimes you have to get something for yourself, right?
I'm not sure what took me so long, but I just ordered this today:

Pretty much had to get this at some point, right? I'm going to get it framed, and it'll be the first item on the wall in my eventual rec room that will have my home bar and poker table.

Well, this thread didn't end up being what I was thinking about, but yes this is a pretty awsome buy for a true nolan fan.

Thats awesome.
I have his autograph on a shitty little black and white bookmark lookin thing. They sent it to me when I sent him a couple baseball cards to be signed.
Better than nothing though.

This, of course, was a concern of mine. I bought the picture directly from his foundation though, so I figure that's my best chance of getting an authentic auto besides getting one in person.

I'm kind of scared to ask what you thought it would be about. Never mind, don't tell me.

That action figure is awesome.
As for the mask....it did make an appearance in Vegas. A certain prominent NL poster is now in possession of it.
