Wow, this sad lady sold the right to tattoo her forehead to Golden Palace for $10,000 allegedly to pay for her sons college. Hopefully he won't go to a private school.

It'll probably cost about $10,000 to get it removed, LOL.

If she was canny (unlikely /images/graemlins/wink.gif), she would get GoldenPalace to pay for removal in the contract.

personally, i think that this displays a pretty large negative image on golden palace. i dont think it was worth it for them to do this unless they projected that it would return far more than the 10k. i also dont understand why they didnt choose someone more attractive.

Public schools will cost that much in 2-3 years if she's lucky.

Bad deal for her, given her goal

The therapy to undo the psychological harm from being the kid whose idiot Mom tattooed goldenpalace.com on her forehead will cost more than $10k.

They pay $10K to rent this woman's forehead for life, and the story is picked up by almost every media outlet as "news". Marketing brilliance by Golden Palace.

Thye shouldve gave her ugly mug $10,000 to wear a paper bag over her head with GOLDENPALACE written on the outside in black marker.

I hope the kid finds the joys of marijuana in college, and fails out.

I'm guessing this would be about as attractive as they could get to do something like this...

it puts gp.com in a negative light for me, personally. looking at that picture reminds me of the bumfights movies where they give a bum a bottle of whiskey to have 'bum fights' tattooed on his forehead.

edit- at first i thought gp was going to give anyone 10k to get this tattoo, but apparently the mom who got it had an ebay auction up to get a tattoo on her forehead and loves attention wherever she goes.

Yeah, isn't that a little too crazy?! I mean I guess people will really do anything for money.

Some people...seriously. Ok, on one hand you can admire her for doing it for her son etc. But on the other, I think there would be other ways of getting 10k, that would not have such massive repercussions. A good marketing ploy alright, but a sad reflection on the world we live in.
