Hi there,
I habitually raise nut flush draws as a semi-bluff, but nut straight draws, well that depends.

Nut straight draw is a strong hand with a ragged board but if the board contains a flush draw it becomes a little more complicated. It's a great asset to have some other potential in your hand when this is the case. For example, I usually push when I have an open-ended straight draw AND a strong top pair ( kings, aces) against a flush draw. However, without that top pair my hand is significantly worse. The only way I can win is with a non-flush card that completes my straight. So calling in this situation is best,( assuming you get good pot odds).

If you get your straight draw on the flop, raising for a free card could work. I've noticed that this play is especially good against weak opponents. It's gonna take a long time before they figure out what you're doing.
