What are your starting hand requirements ?

I saw a few posts recently : one guy raising from SB with Q6off, the other with K5 off.
And another one calling a raise from BB with 75s (I prefer this call to the first two raises as it's more easy to get away from on the flop).
The 3 guys didn't mention any particular reads on their opponent, and even if, I think that's way too loose.

Personnaly, I'm quite loose and I feel bad when I raise from SB with hands like J9 off, I hate not having position, particularly HU with medium hands since it seems to be the time when most people make plays with position.

Shouldn't you be tighter in SB than on the button when all fold to you ?
Should you ever call from SB against non-passive opponents ?

Please share your thoughts.

Player dependent. There are *a lot* of players against whom it is correct to raise any two. Against a tough loose player, you should be relatively tight.

if your cards are consistently better than your opps then you will make money at poker.
