Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Villain was loose and passive (54/2.3/.4) over about 80 hands...no other great reads other than he called too much (WEIRD!)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 5 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 bets, Hero raises, BB folds, UTG+1 3-bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (6.25 BB) 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

River: (8.25 BB) 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
UTG+1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 10.25 BB

Is my hand too weak to call down vs a passive player?

Cap the flop.

If he leads into you again on the turn, then you have to decide if you are going to fold or call him down. (By the way, I would check behind on the turn if he checked and call any river bet)

Personally, in the moment, I would have called down because of the straight draw. I would have folded any other Ax (steal raise). He probably has you beat though. AQ or AK.

Hands that are beating you: AA, KK, QQ, AK, AQ, KQ, JT. Of those hands and villain's numbers, I would expect him to at least raise AA-QQ and AK. It is conceivable with those numbers that he limped AQ/KQ/JT.

I'd cap the flop then call down.

I'm pretty sure he has two-pair here. KQ seems likely since he would've pre-flop raised (maybe not AQ) most hands otherwise.

I think calling this down is fine but I'm guessing you're losing the majority of the time.

Looks fine -
I don't like a flop cap. You want to see a showdown, he's not folding, you only win 1 more SB when you're ahead (or 1 less if you check the turn behind), you lose 1 more when you're behind and he bets the turn, and if you bet & are C/R'd on the turn you're f***ed.
