PS $27 turbo

Ok another hand from the never ending bad run /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I was hoping to limp and call a preflop raise or bail if i missed the flop. I put him a weak ace, a jack or k,q when he called my raise on the flop. When he check raised me on the turn i figured he might have made 2 pair, but there was just as much chance he had something weak like a,9o or a draw given it was an unraised pot. Plus i had the nut flush draw.

Should i have folded to his checkraise on the turn?

Raise preflop hard - protect your hand. That way, if an Ace comes on a flop like that, you can be pretty sure you're not against 2 pair. Granted, it's annoying when everyone folds, but better that than someone hitting their A-x kicker and taking you out.

More aggressive on the flop and the turn probably would have had him.

I think this is a terrible line to take with AKs, and set you up for trouble down the line. Maybe the donkey is also calling his A3 in the BB when you pop it to 90 UTG, but maybe not. We'll never know.
