Can I sell this step seat?

Hi all, I'm new here. /images/graemlins/smile.gif A while back my ex boyfriend tried to show me how good he was at cards and won a step higher 3 seat on partypoker using my name. We broke up last week (he's a big jerk!) and I don't know how to play poker. The party poker people told me the seat is worth $535, so I'd like to sell it for $475 or best offer. Is this possible? Does anyone want to buy it? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

You cant do anything but play it. More than likely it will result in nothing - but who knows maybe you get lucky lucky and win 10k. You cant cash them out and cant sell them to other players (even if you could I wouldnt give you more than 50 bucks for it).

You can't transfer these seats, so selling it would get messy. Basically, you'd have to give someone your password and let them play on your account.

The problem is that a Step3 seat doesn't lead to cash, it leads to a step4 seat, which could lead to a Step5 seat...

Basically, you'd have to sell your account to someone and let them change your password. It would get too messy to be feasable.

No my exboyfriend made an account for me on partypoker and wanted to show me how good he was and he got to step 3 in a day. i told him i didn't care but he did it anyway. so i changed my password when we broke up and i don't think he even remembers about it. i wish i could call him up and thank him for the 400 dollars and laugh at him but it sucks that i cant sell it.

i picked this name cuz i had to pick a name to write a message and "all in" is my favorite poker term cuz... hehe...

i guess i can show my pic but i only have 1 online. you'll have to send me a private message though if you want to see it. /images/graemlins/smile.gif just as long as you dont play poker like 16 hours a day and are kinda cute, im single now so what the hell.

I'll give you an honest suggestion. If you live in a big city, or at least in reasonable proximity to a decent sized pokerroom/casino....make the trek down there, im sure you can meet someone who will have a better shot at cashing that STEP then if you went it alone.

Just mention it casuaully toa few people you see playing there, if they arent down, they will know someone who is. Hell, if you want to kill 2 birds...start with the cutest guy you see and work down. We find pokerbabes inexplicably more alluring than they would be otherwise. SHow a little cleavage and we will be eating out of your hand.

Resonable deals may be along the lines of: They come by your place one day and play that STEP until either busted out, or cashed step5. Perhaps offer them a 20% cut of the prize, and you provide beer/food while they are "working"
