I don't like call flop, call down. I like a flop 3-bet, fold turn to cap. Bet turn, fold to c/r. Bet down, with probably best hand if not aggressed.

This line is terrible. You're 3-betting to find out where you stand. (http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=&Number=523282&page=0&view =expanded&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1)

For some reason I laughed when I read this post.
WA/WB seems the best way to go.
Thanks MrWookie for the link to Ed's 3-bet thread. Been looking for it.

What's the standard WA/WB line? I've never learned this, and now it sounds like I'm missing a lot and leaking there.

You can't be check-raised here, so I guess you're not folding /images/graemlins/tongue.gif.
Flop 3-bet might not be bad, though, but I don't understand the thought behind your recommendation. I might 3-bet thinking there are a lot of pre-flop 3-bet hands that I'm ahead of here, and villain may be trying for a free card, or just trying to slow me down. That is a bit of a stretch, though, against an unknown.
WA/WB sounds better than a flop 3-bet, or maybe this is time for a stop 'n' go?

Standard Way ahead/way behind (WA/WB):
You open-raise ATo from MP2. Decent, typical CO 3bets you. All others fold. Flop comes A82, rainbow. You check/call. Turn bricks, completing the rainbow. You check/call. River bricks. You bet, and typically call a raise (but you usually won't have to). This line loses the least when behind a stronger A, and wins the most against KK-JJ, which will often fold.
This line should be re-evaluated on each street, however. Sometimes the card will change you from WA/WB to just WA or WB, and you should act accordingly.

Looks good to me. I can't see laying down top pair, but you seem likely to be shown AK or maybe KK.
