In answer to your question, yes, I almost got into an accident today when I noticed a smoking hot chick (coincidentally) at the gas station. That was fine, I took a peek and went back to driving... but then I saw she was full-on staring at me so I did a double-take and almost rear-ended someone. But no harm, no foul. I doubt she thought I was super hot, probably more like, "Where is that awful noise coming from?"

(I have no muffler on my truck and I was listening to the part of "Darling Nikki" where Prince is throwing a total fit).

But, other than that, some women will give you a smile or something, even if you're a total fat donk, because they appreciate the attention. This is really not worth asking about; if it happens to you that rarely you need to pay more attention to women and maybe meet a few.

First, girls don't dig guys who post to forums asking these things. Confidence is a plus, running to a forum to ask advice on this is not (but understandable and certainly the way to do it if you need advice).

Second, in regards to above quote, how can I put this lightly? Hmm. Girls are hoes, guys are hoes. The older you get, the more you realize that many (even if not all) of us are (at heart). Having a girlfriend/wife or boyfriend/husband doesn't make us all (even if some of us do) stop eyeing/boffing/fantasizing/checking-out other people.
