Yea...you got 2 callers on the flop, not one. Gotta think a. someones got a 9 or b. made the straight. Raise more preflop. I know its tough from utg to raise and end up taking the blinds but 45 isnt even a riff raff bet in the first level...people will be coming in with far too many hands to make your aces play well.

Second hand I guess is ok... but your about to come out of the small blind, and have plenty of free hands since there is not antes. Why not wait for these hands where you can be the first in with a raise?

First Hand: I would def. raise pre-flop more than you did. Probably to around 100ish. The worst thing to do with such a premium hand is let mediocre drawing hands get a chance to hit there hand. I think its safe to assume you are beat when the guy goes all in and that you should fold.

2nd Hand: Not a bad play, however I would probably have waited and hoped for something a bit stronger to go all in with, there were 9 players left so you had 7 more hands to try to improve without hittin the blinds again. Also with 2 people in ahead of you there is a higher chance of someone calling (they are gettin 1.6:1 pot odds), and I wouldn't want a call with k8.

I got "ripped" (read as gently re-directed) for pulling the same open-raise in a 22 with T1000 starting chips...not sure if this is the right line or not but I'm just a noob.
