That Weezer thread a week or so ago prompted me to listen to The Blue Album and Pinkerton again. I had definitely forgotten just how good both of them are.

Tantric's self-titled CD was pretty good. I can't listen to it regularly (I can say the same thing about most CD's) but it's a good listen occasionally.

i've enjoyed some of their songs in the past. if i was to get an album though would the best of vol 1 be a better pick or stick with diorama?

Someone else mentioned August and Everything After, that is an awesome pick.
Two awful picks so far have been Silverchair - Diorama, and some crappy cake album. Neon Ballroom and Fashion Nugget are clearly better.
Edit: Joan Osborne - Relish is very very good too.
