Its rare that people reraise preflop without AA KK or QQ in my experiance at the 50NL. Does anyone out there fold AK preflop in this situation? I figured I had the right odds to call the turn bet? Was it a mistake to lead the turn?

Unlesss he does this with QQ/images/graemlins/heart.gif, which is unlikely, you are probably toast.

I fold this pre-flop, but I am about as weak-tight as they come.

Do you fold to his push then?

Probably. What hands are you beating?

he's reraising an UTG raise which probably means an ultra premium holding. The only hand you beat is QQ...he *could* have AK here, but KK and AA are also likely. You have picked up a real good flush draw on the turn so i'm ok with your call given the size of the pot, and the fact that you could be tied right now, and that you could be drawing to win if you are behind.

turn lead is horrible.

Amoeba you are absolutely correct. The turn bet was terrible.

well, I take it back now.

if you believe that he is so tight that your 1/2 pot bet convinces him that you have AKh, then fine, lead is good.

However, KK isn't folding and AK with Ah or AA with Ah isn't folding here so I don't see value of turn lead.

you don't need to charge QQ with Qh as you would rather heart hits river.
