very strange bet. could be an odd play with a straight, flush, trips, full, or a complete bluff. i dont think you should risk another 150 times the bb, so just call the river

I would re-raise pre-flop. You are getting incorrect odds on the turn to draw into a flush. I'd call on the river though as I don't think anyone would raise with 33, 44, 55, 66 or the very unlikely 2d4d.

I don't recommend reraising an EP raiser with AQs. I can't imagine that's profitable.

I agree that you have to call this river. His play is odd. It reeks of a last ditch bluff.

Anyone consider the possibility of a pocket pair (4s, 5s or 6s)?

I could easily see someone with PP checking this flop - it is very scary. Most players cdon't realise that you must bet out on this flop just to see where you are.

The $1 bet on the turn also makes sense since he does want to get some money out of this hand. Another possibility is that he had 3s and hit the set on the turn.

The pairing on the river plus the fact that he suddenly comes to life would seem to me like he has hit gold.

With all that said, this is low-stakes so who knows.

i would have to just call down here-the board pairing is a bad sign for your hand.

However, if thats a blank diamond i reraise this guy to about 30 or so..

Villain was actually borderline maniac and I almost re-raised, but instead..

River: ($4.35) 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
UTG+2 bets $10, Hero calls $10.

Villain shows [ 4/images/graemlins/club.gif, 6/images/graemlins/club.gif ] a full house, Sixes full of fours.
Hero doesn't show [ A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif ] a flush, ace high.
Villain wins $23.15 from the main pot with a full house, Sixes full of fours.

Final Pot: $24.35
