Is villain loose/passive or loose/aggresive?

I probably lead out and call a raise if he is passive
and check/raise, call a 3-bet if hes aggresive.

Bet-call.

i think a bet/call on this river is probably best. I wouldn't be surprised if he shows you a lower flush, but just incase he went fishing and hit a set, or slowplayed a set that backfired on the turn

c/r and call a 3-bet.

we cost ourselves an extra bet for the times that we are beat. bet/calling lets us lose less for the times we are behind, and we still get just as much out of the pot if we CR and the villian calls

I think we are ahead quite a bit when he 3-bets, IMO.

You do realize that everytime we are beat villain will bet, and 3bet? Yet when we are ahead, he will often check behind do to the action?

Bet/call is the way to go here.

yeah, which does make the villian peeling to hit a set a likelyhood. since PJ didn't give any stats or much of a description on the villian here other than loose and fishy, we don't have much to go by. If we are CRing this and calling a three bet, then why not cap it if we are ahead often enough to call the three bet

If he is loose and fishy and he capped the turn, I think he will almost certainly bet the river with his lower flush, or top two. Often times he will even three bet with a lower flush.

Exactly. If he is LAG I may check/raise but your opponent is going to check behind too often on this board to try a check raise here. Bet to make sure at least one big bet goes into the pot on this river. The times that he raises you with a worse hand and you miss a 3-bet will balance with the times that he raises you with a better hand and you are forced to call.

Bet and call.

But fishy players play "monsters" aggressively, at least in my experience.

which is why I don't like CRing it and calling a three bet, which is why bet/call is probably the smart line
