Just ordered this game which is hailed as the best soccer game of all-time, anyone played this version yet? (I have played WE7 a ton and loved it so I'm assuming this version is way better).

great game, you'll be pleased. I recommend playing w/ France or Arsenal, b/c Henry dominates everyone

What all teams are named in the game this year? I know they signed some kind of licensing deal, but not sure what teams are all in the game?

I want to order an Henry jersey at some point. (and BTW there is no comparison really between FIFA and WE - WE hands down.)

It's pretty good, but I don't really play any sports games heavily except NCAA Football every year.

What makes W11 better than FIFA? I have FIFA 05 and I love it. It's obviously not the most realistic gameplay, but it's a lot of fun. And having real teams and real players goes a long way.

What about W11 is better? Better passing system? Smarter AI? It's only like 20 bucks on eb games, so I'm definitely willing to check it out.

(PS: Henry owns in FIFA as well... he is unstoppable)

My roommates bought this game and now they are hooked on it. I thought after fifa 2003 it was all downhill for that franchise. Winning Eleven has better physics, control, and overall production.

I never played 2003, but FIFA 2004 was AWFUL. Total waste. 2005 is a significant improvement.

I think I'm going to give W11 a shot.

I like FIFA 2004 alright... but it just doesn't compare to WE7, and I'm sure WE8 blows FIFA '05 off the map, but I have yet to play either. My copy of WE8 will be here on Thursday or Friday!

Hands down my most favorite game of all time. God I wish they had an online version for Xbox in US. I can't find anyone who can keep up with me and the game is too complicate for newbies. If any Seattle people play WE7 or 8 and want to get together I am game.

For one, no one is unstoppable, much like in real football.

FIFA games are just too easy. WE8 in much more realistic in the fact that you have to construct a decent attack to score a goal. It's very difficult to beat the defense one-on-many. Nor do crosses always find their target. Just two examples.

You playing PS2? I've had mine for Xbox since January. It is totally freaking great. Great AI, great physics, great ball control, not too easy. Haven't delved into the franchise mode but the leagues and cup features are enough for me. 5 stars.
