Assuming villain has a made 10-high straight, I have winning outs with any spade, 8, 10 and we split with a counterfeitting 9. If he has a Jack-high straight, I lose the 9 as an out. I am putting him on one or the other.

Do I make this call? Does my rather large stack enter into the decision? And how was my play on the other streets?

Tough one - but you got plenty of outs. Call seems reasonable (Although Js9s or As9s aint so good either). Both of those are somewhat remote. I probably call this, but I probably dont bet the turn, as the T is the worst hand ever, and I dont fancy facing a raise - as a 9 is highly likely from another player, and I dont want to get raised of my nice hand.

Still - I call I think.

I would fold here. You don't have proper odds to call even if the 9 outs count. I'd lay it down.

Do I have the proper odds to call if I have thirteen outs to win and another three to split the pot? I felt that it was close and that the fact that I did have a big stack made it an easier call to make. Bad thinking on both counts?
