I am unsure if these should all be put into seperate posts, but i figured i would put them into seperate posts. Let me know if this is incorrect.

This hand was at a $27 turbo as well. I folded because i wanted to be able to steal preflop and figured if i reriased here, it would be at best a coinflip. Good play?

Yes, it probably would've been a coinflip, but with UTG being the chip leader (probably aggressive as hell too, in a turbo tourney), your stack, and the blinds, I don't see a problem with having a coinflip at this point.

I'd push.

btw, welcome to the boards, and posting 2 hands in 2 threads is quite ok.

Oh, and another thing -- try to give us some reads (aggressive/passive/weak/limps a lot from MP, etc).

Thanks for the friendly response.

I was multitabling and had no reads. Also i am posting this hours after playing and so i cannot remember exact details. I will keep it in mind for future posts.

Anyone else have any opinions on this?

If villain is tag I fold but if he is lag I push.

You are getting called though so hope for x-x-6. /images/graemlins/blush.gif

I fold this without much regret, for the same reasons you mentioned. Had I been in the big blind, it might have been a tough decision.

I'd push. You're the short stack and have 6bb, you need a hand and I'd sieze this opportunity.

With 925 in the pot and you being the short stack, I'd push this. I think 66 is good enough that you shouldn't pass it up at this point. I think you could make an exception if the raiser seemed very tight.

So in situations like this when i am the shortish and need to double through, i should be happy to take a 50/50 rather then fold and hope for a stealing oppurnity in the next few hands?

I could understand this play if i was in the SB or BB, but i generally fold these kind of hands if my reraise will not get the person to fold. I guess that is flawed logic right?

I don't like reraising an UTG raiser with a low pocket pair and no fold equity. I'd fold.

I'm think pushing 23o on the next hand at this buy in would be better than going to war here, though a lot of it depends on the table.

Not bad logic by all means. I dont think it's wrong to fold this and try to use some 1st allin vigourish. However, with your stack compared to the others, it may be difficult to steal.

If your opponents are weak enough to fold for a 3x bb given your small stack, then stealing is a good option.
