Starting playing NL again after swithcing over to limit for a while... What's my move after the minraise? I know minraises usually indicate a ton of strength, but the pot at this point was very big relative to my stack. Thoughts and criticism on all streets are welcome.

Unfortunately, no real reads on Villian, I had recently sat at table and haven't gotten Gametime set up yet.

Since he raised - its entirely possible that he has KK/QQ/JJ/TT here. However its also possible that he has 99/88. The stacks are too small, the money goes in - well played.

Hi Malachii,

First of all, I'd raise it a little more preflop, possibly to $3.5 or even $4.

Second of all, He is quite likely to have an overpair here (hopefully it wasn't QQ). There's a chance he could have 99 or 88, but I think you're happy to get all-in here.

Hey Ryan

That was basically my thought process as well. Anyways, he had 55, and I got cracked, but I don't think there's anyway I can get away from my hand with these stack sizes.

Nicely played, my only variation would have been raising to $4 pre-flop instead of $3 and then betting the entire pot on the flop, with the understanding that if he is check-raising I'm calling anyway.
