View Full Version : Stupid question about the definition of "bubble"

Is there a strict definition about what the "bubble" is? Sure, if there are four people left you're on the bubble, but what about five people? Is six people left a "bubble" situation if a couple of them are on life support or is it just mid-game?

I apologize for this stupid question, but I like to have precise definitions...

No question is stupid, except maybe

/images/graemlins/spade.gif should I fold KK preflop?
/images/graemlins/spade.gif why are the $11s harder than the $33s?
/images/graemlins/spade.gif is my 59% ROI sustainable?
/images/graemlins/spade.gif is this the worst fold ever?

As far as your question's concerned, Ken Prospero's view (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1889404&page=&view=&s b=5&o=&vc=1) is worth some thought.

Not a dumb question at all...my best reply to you is that the bubble is when people play like it's the bubble.
