There was a poll on this several months back, and I had trouble searching for it. It was the three dumbest/smartest forums, if someone could direct me to it that'd be great. I think it was this forum where the poll was originally posted...

You know, as dumb as politics is, it is better than any other message brd on politics I have ever seen. People refer to Hillary Clinton as "Hitlery" and the like. Still though, the poltiics forum here is not that great, you are right, and by 2p2 standards I think you might be right -- it is the dumbest.
I posted on politics for like a week, avoided ad hominem attacks, but there are few posters that even attempt any objectivity. It's like Crossfire (thankfully now cancelled). A bunch of disengenous partisan and ideologically driven arguments, with all cheap shots accepted.

Wow, people are pretty harsh on SSNL. I don't read all the forums, but I think the best are HUSH and Mid-High Limit, and I think the worst by far is WPT.
It's interesting to see that SS Limit hasn't been mentioned. I think it would have been as of a few months ago but it seems that a lot of frequent posters (myself included) have made the jump to HUSH.
