Do women prefer 7 card stud?

Althought I don't play poker that much, I noticed that women seem more likely to play 7 card stud than Hold'em, atleast in the low limit games I play in AC. Does anyone have any theories about why this might be, or is it just my imagination? I hope it's not my presence at the table?

Possible explanations:
1) Pure randomness. A long time ago the first female player walked into a casino flipped a coin and ended up playing 7 card stud. The second female player walked in and saw that another women was playing stud and decided to join her... and so it goes.

2) Lack of data. So few women play poker that it is impossible to extrapolate anything from the data.

Maybe it's because stud is a less intimidating game than hold'em since it plays at a slower pace, and also people don't seem to berate other's play as much as in hold'em (imo).
