beware the miniraise

$40 supersattelite on Stars. Blinds 15/30. UTG raises to 60. 4th position raises to 90. 6th position raises to 210. All 3 players wind up allin preflop.

UTG had KK, 4th position had AA, and fish in 6th position had ATs.

I was wondering what the ---- when I saw that raise from 60 to 90. It turned out both miniraisers had big pairs.

What % of the time do you think min raising is stupid stuff like AJos or KJs..and what % of the time do you think it's a monster?

The first min-raise sometimes is junk, but the min-re-raise has AA written all over.

Agreed, but I say it again: min-re-raises (ok, min-re-raises from donkeys) have AA written all over them.
