Haven't played in this satellite in a while and decided to play tonight.
I had 23K at the break, down from my high of 30, and went to add on. I was in the top 15 in chips at the time but I wanted the addon. Yeah I know the arguments for and against adding on when you have a sizeable stack compared to the blinds but I wanted the chips anyway.
Stars wouldn't let me have the 2k in chips. Checked the Tourney rules and sure enough there is a 20K capp on addons.
When did this start?
Is it good for the satellites?

I can't figure out why they would do this. It will limit the prize pool/number of satellite entries. Ok in this case only by 15*3.00 == 45 but that 45 may be the difference between paying out 31 seats vs 30 seats.
I can't find any other rebuy sat or non-sat that has this restriction.
