UTG is solid and desperate. Button has been playing fast and loose. Bad push here?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t300 (4 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

UTG (t995)
Button (t6160)
SB (t1300)
Hero (t1545)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
UTG pushes for t995, Button calls t995, 1 fold, Hero pushes for t1545, Button calls t550.

Yah I think this is a bad push, you are for sure getting called.

I'd prefer to let those 2 gamble and see the outcome then push rags and rely on FE if needed.

Of course I don't play 215's

any time you have more than 3 bb you definately have fold equity. there are even times that you can have fold equity with >2.5bb

I agree, if you have somebody's stack covered or a large % of it you have FE, slim it may be.

I don't think it's a bad push, necessarily, but not because of any FE issues. If UTG wins this hand you have a real problem, and I'd definitely push AQ here. AJ is close.

Finally, if I know UTG is 2+2 I call for sure.

based on your reads it looks like both players have a hand range wide enough for you to push
