Official 2x Challenge Thread (rules/updates/trashtalk)

I give you two challenges for July with incentives to celebrate.

WSOP challenge:July 1st-15th
Best/Highest #ITM(distribution matters)
start: July 1st, 2005 00:01 EST
end: July 15, 2005 23:59 EST

Rules
1.You may enter only once with ONE poker account
2. You may not combine poker accounts into one entry
(for example you may not 12 table three poker accounts in order to gain a bulk edge)
3. Only Party Skin 10seat 1-table SnGs may be used
4. Players will be ranked by the ITM and distribution they report.
5. Any attempt to fraud the challenge in any way at my discretion will result in disqualification
6. You must have a minimum of 50 ITMs to qualify for any incentives
7. I reserve the right to alter or discontinue this challenge at any time.

The catch?? SWEAT ME BABY...
I do better if I have some support behind me. I am really just an internet qualifier who won his seat via 1table tournaments through Empire's Tournament Masters program. I want to represent 2+2, Empire, and the 1table forums well.

Follow me in the WSOP event from July 7th-15th.

*If I make it into the money I will give the winner of this challenge a Free Dell LCD monitor.

*If I make the final table I will give the top 25 participants a free Dell LCD monitor. The Challenge Winner will receive TWO Dell LCD monitors.

*If I win the WSOP I will give ALL qualifying participants(see rule #7 above) TWO FREE LCD monitors. The winner of the challenge will receive FOUR Dell LCD monitors, a monitor stand, and a new computer to go along with it. (I will buy them the same one I buy myself)
AND
The Winner of the Challenge will receive a seat in the 2006 WSOP $10,000 Main Event.*

All distributions rely on my placement in the 2005 WSOP, and a minimum # of qualifying challengers(10) must be met.

I will buy the winner of this challenge eastbay's program

Eligibility:
Registered 2+2 posters(before July 1st 2005)

The Challenge:
Most ITMs(distribution doesn't matter)
July 1st-july 31st(EST)

Both challenges count ITMs Only(In The Money)

One of the challenges is distribution based, the other is not, but both only require to report ITMs.

player 1 has 50 ITMS (20-1st 10-2nds 20-3rds)
player 2 has 45 ITMS (25-1sts 10-2nds 10 3rds)

I will use a point system similar to the party payout
1st-5points
2nd-3points
3rd-2points
Doesnt matter what $$ level they play at. This will allow all levels to participate.

so in this example
player 1
20 x 5 = 100
10 x 3 = 30
20 x 2 = 40
-------------
170 points

Player 2
25 x 5 = 125
10 x 3 = 30
10 x 2 = 20
----------
175 points

Player 2 would be the higher ranked player

Also, note that the default setting when you installed software is to only hold HHs there for 10 days...So be sure to modify that to at least 30 days.

It's gonna get crazy at the $10s once you've made it deep into the money. All the sharks will drop down there to maximize their ITMs. For a few short days Irie's worst nightmares will take shape as the $10s become tougher than the $20s or $30s.

Here is my update..
I'm out /images/graemlins/blush.gif

I lost my chips about an hour into level 5 (150-300& 25 ante).I was down to 5k in the BB with A7s. Folded around to the button who made it the standard steal raise of 1k. I had already made up my mind to push this hand if button/co or SB makes a steal attempt. Was I wrong? I was this time. He showed me AK as he called me without hesitation. The only other All Ins(that I had to show)I had AK twice. I am confident that he would have made that 1k raise with much less then AK.

SB labored and almost came in before I had the chance to. He said to me "You were thinking the same thing I was." This meant a good deal coming from Doug Lee. More about all this later in a full trip report.

The WSOP contest is over because I didnt place... I urge you all to continue in the 2nd contest though.

Thanks to everyone for participating. As many of you know, I am trying to get something more concrete going with these challenges. I will keep you posted.
