I like all of these except the white sox pick. basically, I'm not sure why you would bet against the a's when they've been playing the way they have been. According to Baseball Prospectus' adjusted standings, the a's are only about half a win worse than the sox, and thats even with taking into account their awful May. Saarloos is coming off a complete game shutout. I don't really think there is any value on either side of this.

Sox haven't exactly been scuffling lately, winning 7 of their last ten. Garland has been a beast this year, even on the road. The Sox have won 4 of his last 5 starts. On the other side, the A's don't exactly give Sarloos a ton of run support. I don't think they're even close to as good as this win streak would otherwise indicate. I don't buy into streaks as much as some people. Garland vs. Sarloos is just a serious overmatch.
