Never seen this villain before. Is turn bet ok, or should I check and make a healthy value bet on the river?

This is a tough one. The action is fishy, it's hard for me to put him on AK, 78, set, or a bigger T. I call here against this unknown thinking I'm against AQ/KQ/miss more often than straight/set/bigger T but I 8 table continously so I'll load up another one immediately if I'm out. If I were playing sets I'd be more likely to fold.

Why not make another pot size bet on the river?

I think the turn bet is okay, but I'd probably only fire out 2/3rd fo the pot.

I dunno, I'd throw out a blocking bet on the river to avoid such a push that could be to buy it or to make you think he is tryiing to buy it. With the check though I call the push and I think you will be ahead a lot of the time.

Your reasoning for calling seems flawed, you'd be willing to bust if you we're playing continuosly but you'd be less inclined too if you we're playing sets?

Is this a $/hour thing?

Yes it's a $ / hour thing. I think the blocking bet is a good idea though I'd classify it primarily as a value bet as I think you have the best hand here the vast majority of the time.

I called and he had like As6s or something. I won. Didn't like calling though.
