(In the US)

What are the major casinos in the US? I'm aware of Foxwoods, and the Commerce. But outside of Nevada, where are all the major casinos?

Thanks,
Scuba

Take a look at the Casinos (http://poker.wikicities.com/wiki/Casino) listed here.

The largest riverboat casino capable of sailing is the Argosy in Indiana. The largest riverboat casino docked is the Ameristar in Kansas City.

Since we're on the subject, what are the nicer/bigger/fishier poker casinos in the caribbean? Any advice?

I've played in Atlantis and Wyndham Crystal Palace (Nassau Bahamas). Unfortuately, the WPT event notwithstanding, there is no Poker on this island.

Atlantis is pretty nice. Wyndham is pedestrian. Best thing to say about either is that the dealers seem more patient with newbies, especially during the day when it's slow.

If casino is in reference to poker, the Argosy does not have a pokerroom , unfortunately. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Grand Casino in Tunica at one point was the largest casino outside of Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

I'm pretty sure the Tunica Grand is the largest boat in the US.

Also, the New Orleans Harrah's is pretty dang big.

New Orlean's Harrahs isn't a boat last time I checked. Reminded me more of a huge barn built chiefly to house slot machines.

Tunica Grand could now be larger as I believe they tied two huge barges together for the basic structure.

Foxwoods keeps adding wings, so it could be in the running for most square footage.

So far, nothing has come close to match the Stratosphere for height.

It's not a boat. OP wasn't about boats only, though.

Actually, I think it's three huge barges. It's a big mofo.

Surprised no one mentioned Casino Arizona yet, it has a huge poker room.
