How do I access the archives from 9/01 to 9/02?

All the archives prior to 9/01 are easily accessible via the "Older Archives" link on the gren bar. All posts after 9/02 (when the software changed) can be found using the "Search" function above. But, I can't find a link to the posts from 9/01 to 9/02.

By default these forums only show 2 weeks or so of posts, but they go back to 2001. All you have to do to find a post is search for it and tell it to look through the entire forum database.

I couldn't figure it out then and still can't. How do you get to the archives between 9/01 and 9/02.

I followed Chuck's instructions and wasn't getting anything prior to the softwar change of a year ago. I was searching for a post under my username.

Although you probably only deserve a snappy one liner I'll give you a little more than that. Here is a Post by Dyanasty from June 02 (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=genpok&Number=100471&Forum =All_Forums&Words=Dynasty&Match=Entire%20Phrase&Se archpage=27&Limit=100&Old=allposts&Main=100452&Sea rch=true#Post100471) . The clue to how to find the post you are seeking is in this link. Good luck! If you give up on how to do the search yourself simply come groveling to me and I will find it for you.

Ok, so I couldn't resist the snappy one-liner after all! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Go to the original 2+2 home page (the yellow and green one) and look on the left side bar. They are under "older archives."

I found Sklansky's Four Preflop Errors thread today which was posted between 9/01 and 9/02. In the box in the bottom-left corner of the page, there is a dropdown labeled Show and it will say "active in the last 2 weeks" in the dropdown. Change that to "from all dates" and you can access all threads since 9/01 just by clicking on the page numbers.

You can also use the search functionality to find old threads, but my success doing that was spotty.

The normal search function doesn't work for anything before the software change last September. I may try the "Show" method if I really want something. However, I'm sure there is an easy method. Maybe I'll PM Chuck Weinstock.

The search does work before the software update.

I second that. I have found things from before the software update using search. It is spotty, though... and I haven't figured out why exactly.
