New Concept...STT Forum Monthly Goals Post

I just had an idea to start posting monthly goals at the beginning of every month. I will obviously post mine, and I invite everyone to post theirs. At the end of the every month I will bring this post up and have all who posted their goals give us an update.

So without further ado, My goals for the month of July are to get in 1200 SNGs, become bankrolled for 50 buyins at the 55s, and pay off everyone who I owe money to (this one should be pretty easy once I get my student loans in.)

I'm working on some top secret charts - get drafts done. Also, figure out a good way to datamine and if that is trivial, figure out how I'm going to store and process the data.

Improve on my June results (13% ROI, 37% ITM at the 20s, about 300 tournaments -- would like to increase all three numbers). Try not to donk out of quite so many tournaments early.

Get my bankroll to the point where I would be comfortable playing the 30s, and at least be mixing some into my groups by the end of the month.

Ok, just to put my goals on virtual paper:
By August 1st, I would like to be where I was before the down swing, which is at the $22s with well over a 50 buy-in bankroll. To do this, this weekend I will continue to rape the new .5/1 6 max tables until I get my $550 to start the $11s. Then play these until I get back to the $22s. My week vacation from work should help me out a lot this month.

Might as well make my first sng post here. I'm trying out some sngs because ring was getting hella boring and that was frustrating me.

I'm rolled for 55s, but I'll be working my way up to actually figure out what I'm doing. Anyway, I've played about 100 of the 5.50s on Stars just to finish clearing a bonus, and to get a start. Next, I'd like to play ~300 11s with some decent results, or at least to the point that I'm confident in my play. Then I'll start pounding away at the 22s for some unknown number.

Anyway, I'd like to be playing 33s be the end of the month. Also, I'd like to get an Empire account set up again so I can 8table the sngs with rakeback.

If everything turns out well, I'll buy myself a laptop at the end of the month. I've really wanted one for a while, and school's starting back up soon, so I need to get on that.

Random Question: How are Empire and Eurobet with e-mailing the tournament history? They aren't dl'ed to the HD like hand histories correct?

That's about where I'm at...my personal goal is to double my take home pay this year. I'm only single tabling right now and will most likely continue that route 'till I have 500 games under my belt, then look to move up. I hope to average ~$750/wk playing at night and some "double dipping" when I'm not in front of a class /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I was thinking about doing the same thing, great idea. I ended up just putting my goals in my AIM profile since I don't post much here, but since it came up my goals are as follows:

July 1st - July 10th
400 $30+3 stt's while 6 tabling

July 11th - July 20th
400 $50+5 stt's while 6 tabling

July 21st - July 31st
700 $50+5 stt's while 8 tabling

What kind of rakeback do you have? You'd need a lot more than 500 at each level to get 1k in rakeback, even with 30%. More like 650+ at each...

What kind of rakeback do you have? You'd need a lot more than 500 at each level to get 1k in rakeback, even with 30%. More like 650+ at each...

Maybe 750 is more reasonable (1500 in rake from 30s, 1000 in rake from 20s = 2500/4 = about 625, so ill hafta play 650 30+3s or so)..
