10+1 Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (5 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Button (t1800)
Hero (t1375)
BB (t3745)
UTG (t140)
MP (t940)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to t140 (All-In)</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t1375 (All-In)</font>, BB calls t1325.

With just the BB left to act, I thought my 66s were good enough to pull an isolation play on UTG, who needed to make a move soon, and BB on a random hand. BB flips over JJ, UTG shows A5o and I catch a 6 on the river to win - YOINK! /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Regardless of my bad luck followed by good luck, is 66 good enought to isolate UTG in this situation?

Thx, R

Pushing is a pretty big overbet with blinds at 25/50.... Only 200 in the pot... I think raising here is good, and I'm pretty sure your hand is good too.

I think that the extra t140 in the pot makes this play worthwhile. I would push as well here.

But I'm kind of a brainless push-monkey...

I don't want to just raise, keep BB in the hand, and then have to play 66 out of position against the big stack, so I push.
