So I'm sitting here getting more and more pissed off about the numerous omissions from the Action movie thread. So let's do this over again, correctly this time.

Give me your personal favorite action movies from the 1980s.

A few of my picks:

Terminator
Aliens
Robocop
Die Hard

07-01-2005, 12:40 PM
The Road Warrior
Rocky IV
obviously one of the Rambos
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Blade Runner

Soul Daddy
07-01-2005, 12:43 PM
Rocky III
Predator
Best of the Best

MoreWineII
07-01-2005, 12:46 PM
Tron

MrWookie47
07-01-2005, 12:46 PM
Batman

And I guess all the stuff in the other thread should be nominated as well, even if it all doesn't necessarily deserve to make the cut.

The Empire Strikes Back

Rock the vote, homeboy. I'm just going with the movies people nominated, it's up to you, the people to actually determine the best one.

Segal really broke through in the 1990s. Above the Law was his first hit (which is on the list) in 1988. Under Siege, which was listed earlier in the thread, didn't come out until 1992.

You'll have to excuse me. I'm a diehard Bond fan and we don't even acknowledge the fact that "Never Say Never Again" ever existed.

Also, in the interest of filling out the list and getting this thing started, I think you can consider this an action flick:

(I'm reaching here, but damn this plot outline makes it sound like an action flick: Plot Outline: Number 5 of a group of experimental robots in a lab is electrocuted, suddenly becomes intelligent, and escapes)

Ok obviously I'm the #1 supporter of JCVD and Bloodsport (all the way!) however I think Chuck Norris also be represented on this poll with either Missing in Action (1984) or Delta Force (1986) or both.
